Cambridge basic science FRCS (Tr & Orth) revision course | 20—22 March 2024

The Cambridge basic science course returns for its 16th successive year!

Aimed at trainees who are in their earlier years of training and those preparing for the FRCS (Tr & Orth) examination. This course is also suitable for consultant orthopaedic surgeons in practice who wish to refresh their knowledge in orthopaedic basic sciences.

Designed to provide delegates with a comprehensive update on all topics that are assessed in the examination and are clinically relevant. It includes interactive lectures as well as mock vivas, thus providing delegates ample time to gain knowledge and also refine their examination technique.

This year the course will be operating as a Hybrid course. Day 1 will be hosted virtually over zoom, followed by Days 2-3 at Trinity Hall in Cambridge.

Topics include:

Basic science of the Spine and Biomechanics
