This course is jointly organised by Orthopaedic Research UK and the Orthopaedic Academy, bringing together leading expertise in musculoskeletal imaging and orthopaedic education.
Designed to enhance diagnostic confidence, the course will provide participants with a solid understanding of both normal and pathological findings in orthopaedic MRI. Through focused teaching and expert-led case discussions, delegates will learn to accurately interpret MRI scans of the upper limb, lower limb, and spine, and to integrate imaging findings into clinical orthopaedic decision-making.
Attendees will also benefit from interactive sessions with an expert panel, offering the opportunity to discuss complex cases and gain practical insights into real-world applications of MRI in musculoskeletal medicine.

Firas is fellowship trained consultant in hip and knee arthroplasty .
In addition to that, his passion for FRCS teaching has led him to establish the Orthopaedic Academy, providing webinar based exam teaching for the last 3 years.
He is also the editor of the award winning exam preparation book entitled ‘ Concise Orthopaedic Notes’ that has become one of the main orthopaedic exam revision resources in the UK and internationally .
