Intensive FRCS (Orth) mock viva and clinical exam course | 11 January 2025
Overview
This course is delivered in partnership with the Orthopaedic Academy and is designed for candidates taking the part 2 FRCS (Orth) examinations or equivalent, and consists entirely of mock viva and clinical stations. It will provide you with the opportunity to refine and test your knowledge, practice your exam technique, and clarify any issues with an experienced UK based faculty.
To ensure the very best experience, candidates will be split into small groups of only two participants and rotate through workstations. Each workstation will have at least 2 faculty providing 1:1 teaching ratio.
Delegates will rotate through the following stations; Basic sciences, Paediatrics and hands, Adult pathology, Trauma, Intermediate case – upper limb, Intermediate case – lower limb, Short cases – upper limb, Short cases – lower limb.

Firas is fellowship trained consultant in hip and knee arthroplasty .
In addition to that, his passion for FRCS teaching has led him to establish the Orthopaedic Academy, providing webinar based exam teaching for the last 3 years.
He is also the editor of the award winning exam preparation book entitled ‘ Concise Orthopaedic Notes’ that has become one of the main orthopaedic exam revision resources in the UK and internationally .
