Research Funds
We are one of the most significant funders of orthopaedic and MSK research in the UK. We also partner with leading academic institutions, healthcare organisations, societies, charities and private companies to directly fund the most innovative MSK research projects.
The fellowship is intended for scientists, bioengineers, academic clinicians and allied health professionals who want to return to their MSK research careers after an enforced career break.
The Spine Research fellowship of up to £70k is funded between the British Scoliosis Society (BSS), The British Association of Spine Surgeons (BASS) and Orthopaedic Research UK (ORUK) across 2 years.
Funding for medical students and foundation year doctors to support research-related activities
The programme is designed to accelerate the development of musculoskeletal innovation and thereby create and scale early-stage MSK ventures across the UK.
This investment provides support for patient and public involvement (PPI) activity in musculoskeletal research.
