Sustainability best practices in research

We fully support the declared ambition of the National Institute for Health & Care Research that ‘The health research endeavour must take appropriate steps to minimise greenhouse gas emissions from research activities.’[1]

The NIHR Carbon Reduction Guidelines include practical actions for researchers including reducing the amount of travel undertaken by participants in clinical trials.
