The lower limb and paediatric FRCS (Tr & Orth) viva and clinical course | 15 March 2025
Overview
This one-day course is specifically designed for candidates preparing for the FRCS (Tr & Orth) examinations, focusing on both lower limb and paediatric orthopaedics through viva and clinical sessions, as well as clinical demonstrations.
The course structure includes:
- Viva and clinical sessions where candidates will examine both adult and paediatric patients
- Interactive discussions and clinical case presentations that highlight tips and tricks for correct examination techniques
- Instant feedback provided to candidates at the end of each session
Participants will have numerous opportunities to ask questions to the faculty, which includes consultants specialising in lower limb and paediatric orthopaedic surgery, as well as senior trainees who have recently passed the exams and are eager to share their insights and exam strategies.

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust
Mr Sunil Kumar Bajaj is a consultant paediatric orthopaedic surgeon, at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. He gained his specialist training in South East London and completed paediatric orthopaedic fellowships at Sheffield Children’s Hospital and RNOH, Stanmore. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in teaching registrars and is highly acclaimed in the region for his teaching abilities.
He is regularly invited as a faculty on various FRCS orthopaedic courses including the Chesterfield FRCS (Orth) course, Miller orthopaedic course, UK, King’s FRCS Ortho course and the Evelina paediatric trauma course.
