ORUK & BCRT Sarcoma and Bone Cancer Awareness Month Webinar | 11 July 2024
Overview
During this month, the community comes together to raise awareness about sarcoma, a rare type of cancer that affects bone and soft tissue. Importantly, it’s also a time to work towards improving treatment options for all sarcoma patients. Late diagnosis is a key factor in the prognosis for sarcoma patients, and initiatives during this awareness month aim to change that.
This webinar is going to look at the types of sarcoma and the treatment options available. It will look at the Bone Cancer Research Trust, what the organisation is doing and the impact the organisation is having. There will also be time to ask questions at the end and have discussions about issues related to the topic.
The audience for this webinar is primary care professionals and physios.
The webinar is free to attend but delegates must register in advance via Zoom
