Mr Jamie Buchanan, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Conquest Hospital
Mr Buchanan qualified at St Mary’s Hospital in 1986, he completed his higher surgical training in the North West Thames. He did an upper limb fellowship in Perth, Western Australia. He was appointed consultant at Conquest Hospital, Hastings in 1998. He as an FRCS examiner from 2008-2018. He is a keen fly fisherman and golfer. Married to his first wife and has to 2 children whom nether are in medicine. He is still one of life’s enthusiasts. Considers himself “round peg in round hole”.
