Mr John Hambidge, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Queen’s Hospital

Mr Hambidge is an upper limb trauma consultant working at Queen’s Hospital Romford.
He undertakes no elective practice and his main areas of interest are humeral nailing and elbow reconstruction. He has worked at Queen’s for 9 years. Prior to that he was a consultant at King’s Mill Hospital Mansfield for 16 years. He trained in the Royal Air Force seeing time in Bahrain during the first gulf conflict and the Falkland Islands. His interest outside medicine has led him to have a master of arts in first world war history.
