Promoting life sciences

We were pleased to attend the APPG for Life Sciences event at the House of Commons: ‘Celebrating UK Life Sciences: From Innovation to Impact’. This important meeting was the first gathering of a coalition of leading medical research charities, the life sciences industry, and the UK’s National Academy for Medical Sciences. Together, the new group aims to provide parliamentarians with access to the full breadth of the UK’s collaborative life sciences community.

Our CEO Dr Arash Angaji (pictured on the left of the above photo) was joined on the AMRC stand by Dr Joshua Steer,  the CEO of Radii Devices – one of the start-up business in which we have invested. Radii Devices uses state-of-the-art AI and biomechanical modelling to help clinicians design better fitting prosthetic sockets for people with limb loss or limb difference.
