Investing in healthcare solutions

We are pleased to have contributed to a legal guide for trustee and senior leaders of healthcare charities by Bates Wells and the TAR (Translating and Accelerating Research) Network, of which we are a member.

The guide is designed for charity trustees and staff in the early stages of using investments to fund solutions, and in particular, investments into commercial businesses to accelerate the development of innovations or services that will help the charity’s beneficiaries. It includes a case study on our approach to innovation.

TAR Network is a consortium of over 30 charities working within the field of medical research and healthcare across multiple disease areas. TAR’s objective is to support the acceleration of health innovations to deliver impact for patients sooner.
