Mr Lee Van Rensburg, Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon, Addenbrooke’s Hospital

Lee Van Rensburg is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon.
His particular area of interest is disorders of the upper limb, particularly shoulder and elbow disorders.
He also has a special interest in trauma.

He holds a full time consultant post in trauma and orthopaedics, based at Addenbrooke’s hospital, part of the Cambridge Hospitals NHS trust. He consults and operates at the Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital and the
Nuffield Hospital in Cambridge.

He completed his primary medical training in 1993 at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. After moving to the United Kingdom in 1996, he completed his basic surgical training at West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St Edmunds and completed his higher surgical training on the East Anglian orthopaedic rotation (Cambridge) in 2005. He undertook a fellowship predominantly in trauma at the Alfred hospital, Melbourne in 2006.
