Mr Shah Punwar, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust
Mr Shah Punwar is a Consultant Knee Surgeon based at University Hospital Lewisham in South London. His main areas of expertise are knee and hip replacement surgery as well as soft tissue knee injuries. He has a particular interest in partial knee replacements, daycase arthroplasty and ACL reconstruction. He is a member of the British Association of Knee Surgery and is committed to medical education.
Following his graduation from Imperial College School of Medicine he went on to undertake his basic surgical training in Kent and the London region before completing his specialist orthopaedic training on the Bristol rotation.
In 2013 Mr Punwar undertook a fellowship year of complex arthroplasty and sports injury training in Perth, Western Australia before returning to the UK and being appointed as a Consultant Trauma Orthopaedic Surgeon.
