Mr Zuhair Nawaz, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Frimley Park Hospital

Zuhair is a revision consultant at Frimley Park with specialist interest in periprosthetic fractures.

He has had the opportunity to work and gain experience at several tertiary arthroplasty units both in the UK and abroad and has completed an international trauma fellowship in Calgary. He completed a European ESSKA knee fellowship in Italy. He graduated from Imperial College and completed his basic surgical training in London and registrar training on SW Thames London rotation. He has an excellent background in teaching having taught previously on this course and regularly on the Wrightington & St Peter’s FRCS courses covering basic sciences, arthroplasty and trauma.

He has an avid interest in research with multiple international presentations and several publications including the world’s largest cohort series of knee cartilage transplant patients and tibial plateau fractures treated with Ilizarov frames.
