Mr Mark Latimer, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Addenbrooke’s Hospital

Mr Latimer works as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at both Addenbrooke’s Hospital and at Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals. He has a specialist interest in children’s orthopaedics, adult lower limb surgery and trauma surgery.

Before studying medicine he graduated from Oxford University with a master’s degree in engineering, economics and management. He studied pre-clinical medicine at Oxford and clinical medicine at Cambridge. He joined the East Anglian Orthopaedic Rotation in 2002.

He passed his FRCS (T&O) exams in 2007 and was selected for the prestigious Ingham Fellowship in paediatric orthopaedic surgery in Sydney.

Mr Latimer has published academic papers in numerous fields including cardiology, anaesthesia, plastic surgery, neurosurgery and of course orthopaedics!
